Tignes   |   France

Welcome to The Dragon Lodge

We've provided authentic chalet style accommodation with great food, service and atmosphere since 1997. Located in the center of Tignes we're still independently run by snowboarders with 30 years of knowledge and experience of the area to share with you.

A Gathering Place

Simple accommodation, shared with good people in a great location at 2100m in the center of Tignes Le Lac - your home from home in the Alps.

The Lodge

Your home from home in the mountains — 9 bedrooms, big communal living & dining space, great views, location & food...somewhere to live for a week, not a hotel to check in and out of

The Welcome

A proper welcome from our crew who've spent decades working out what makes a great holiday in the mountains — we'll happily share that, look after you and go out of our way to make your stay the best possible

The People

A gathering place for together like-minded folk who share a love of the mountains, snowboarding and skiing. Run by a small crew, shared with amazing guests, new friends and lots of regulars to ride, ski, socialise and swap stories at the dinner tabe with

The Food

Three-course evening meals build around proper heary cooking - curries, comfort classics, chocolate fondant because you've earned it. A communal dinner is at the heart of the lodge experience, catered to any dietary needs, with unlimited wine as it should be!

A Legendary Resort

We started the lodge almost 30 years ago to provide the kind of place we'd love to stay and share with friends old and new

Tignes

One of the best high altitude, snow-sure resorts in Europe. 1900m vertical from the tree runs of Les Breviere at 1550m to the Grand Motte glacier at 3565m with the lodge perfectly located at 2100m in the main village of Le Lac. Tignes, and it's neighbour Val D'isere, are world famous for a reason

Terrain

300km of linked pistes shared with Val d'Isère, plus some of the best off-piste in the Alps. Beginners, intermediates, experts, freestylers, big-mountain riders — there's something here for everyone, and we know where to find it

Winter

Our season runs from late November to early May - a proper Alpine winter from start to finish. Whether you can't wait for early season turns, chasing mid winter powder or laid back sunny Spring laps and après, winter in Tignes has it all

Summer

The Lodge doesn't shut when the snow melts. Tignes in summer is something else entirely — glacier riding in the morning, paddleboard on the lake or mountain biking in the afternoon, hike trails straight from the door, or just relaxing in the clean mountain air
