There are many reasons we chose Tignes to setup the lodge in 1997 and why we couldn't be happier we're still here almost 30 years later....

For a start, it really lives up to it's legendary status as one of the most snow sure resorts in Europe, never failing to provide the goods throughout a long season from late November to early May

It has a vast ski area, one of the largest in the Alps with over 300km of pistes shared with it's neighbour Val D'Isere. Whatever your level there's huge choice of runs for you:

Great facilities

Off the hill it also excells.

It's long been a car free resort with it's pioneering, free, electric shuttle bus system.

The off snow facilites from the Lagon pool and wellness center (free with your lift pass) to the Tignespace sport & activity center are excellent.

It's selection of great bars, restaurants, ski & snowboard shops, schools, instructors and guides are second to none and we'll point you in the right direction of the best of them all.

Sure, it's not as chocolate box pretty (or as expensive and snobby) as some other resorts but it's friendly, down to earth atmosphere it why we love it.

We did seasons in other resorts before we started the lodge, have ridden in many more across Europe, the US and Japan since, but there's a reason we chose to stay here - the place, the terrain, the people, the facilities...

Tignes really has it all, we stand by that, love to welcome new guests here, and are proud that so many return again and again!
