Our accommodation packages have been re-designed for winter 2020 / 2021 to provide an option that should both suit each groups needs and be value for money while maximising everyone’s safety by adhering to government and health authority guidelines & protocols in relation to COVID-19

So how’s it going to work? Below are the prices per week for each of the self catered chalet apartment options – the ‘Main Lodge’ sleeping 6-8 people & the 3 ‘Mini-Lodge” apartments each sleeping 4 – 6 people – plus a per person price for 1/2 board available only to groups booking the whole lodge.

As a whole the lodge has 9 guest bedrooms and usually sleeps 18 with 2 per room.

The ‘Main Lodge’ has 3 bedrooms downstairs linked directly to the main living room & kitchen, while upstairs there are 3 separate ‘mini-lodge’ apartments with two bedrooms each.

This unique layout means that while we can usually fill the lodge with mixed or single groups who all eat and socialise in the main living room, we can (and often have in summer) split the lodge into 4 self contained chalet apartments, which can be booked individually or in combination.

So, while the new Covid-19 related social distancing rules and safety protocols governing group sizes and mixing mean we can’t accommodate and cater for guests as usual, we can offer some great value, flexible and safe options for your stay:

Self Catered + or  Larger Group/Sole Occupancy Catered

1: Smaller groups, looking for the freedom and value of self catering?

As our core option for winter 2020/2021 we will have the 4 separate chalet apartments available to book individually, or in combination, for self catered groups of 4 to 8 people each – think AirBnB style but with the addition of some extra Dragon Lodge services. This option provides comfortable, simple and great value accommodation while adding the safety and security of socially distanced own group bubbles many are asking for in the current climate.

“Main Lodge’ and “Mini-Lodge’ apartments 1, 2 & 3 upstairs:

The Main Lodge chalet apartment sleeps 6 to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, while the 3 Mini-Lodge apartments upstairs each have 2 bedrooms and can sleep 4 to 6 people.

All have their own kitchen, bathroom and private living areas.

Self catered guests can of course prepare their own meals and drinks, there are two supermakets within easy walking distance that are well stocked and reasonable priced, or Tignes has a whole array of restaurants, take away and delivery services who we can hook you up with of course.

There will be welcome packs for all our guests to get you up and running for your holiday. Store cupboard staples for cooking plus essentials like tea, coffee, milk, cereal…plus we can pre stock your apartment with whatever else you like for a little extra cost on request.

2: Bigger groups, looking for a catered option?

If you are a large group of between 10 -18 and want to book the whole lodge for sole-use, or a combination of the Main Lodge downstairs plus at least one of the Mini Lodge apartments upstairs, we may be able to arrange catered group packages. This will include, continental breakfast, afternoon cake and coffee and evening meal with wine served in the main lodge dining area for your group only.

What are we doing to keep guests safe

As always cleaning is a priority, but there will of course be extra COVID-specific cleaning and safety measures implemented in line with government protocols and industry standards.

For self catered groups we can minimise all person-to-person contact by arranging self-check-ins if requested and will ensure extra cleaning products, hand sanitisers, paper towels etc will be provided for the client’s own use during their stay.

Extra safeguarding, checks and cleaning standards will also be carried out before and your their stay by our team. (for example, all kitchenware will be sanitised on changeover day, with staff wearing PPE, etc.) For catered groups there will be the usual daily cleaning/disinfection of ‘high traffic’ areas and touch points, as well as a weekly ‘deep’ clean of the chalet to a high standard including further disinfection and increased ventilation in the chalet – all carried out at times to best adhere to social distancing

1/2 board includes the essentials:

* 7 nights bed & continental breakfast (fresh bread, croissants, pain-eu-chocolat, cereals, juices, tea, coffee….)
* Afternoon tea + cake
* 5 x three course evening meals with wine
* Teas & coffee any time you want
* All local taxes – no additional charges in resort
* Free WIFI
* Services of lodge staff
* Bed linen & towels
* Free use of all lodge facilities including:
-Snowboard / Ski maintenance room and equipment
-DVDs, Xbox and games
-Stereo with iPod/mp3 connections
-Games, magazine & book library…
We can also arrange airport/station transfers, equipment hire, lessons, off piste guiding, lift passes etc. – just let us know and we’ll organise it for you.
To secure a booking we just ask for a £100 deposit per person with the balance due 8 weeks before your arrival.
